It's quite interesting how less the team would change, when I did a "second reality" -scenario about starting a rebuild after Lidström retirement.

There are some certaing thing which will make blowout rebuilds extremely tough to complete. Those have affected most for our last 5 years.

I'll post my scenario in here later on today. I'll quarantee it will be fun to read. :)

That should drive some chatter on here as we hit the point of the year where hockey news is slim.

I have a lot of questions about the controls and methodology.

It's not easy to do, ebecause I want some details go right and realistic ways. Like that if some trade happend, it was realistic trade on that time. Or we did have salary cap space to do something else.

Also I thought that it would be nice to introduce every season roster differencies.

Are they going with Mrazek-Howard this year? Do they have any other choice?

They can trade one of them. But the likely scenario is they start with both of them yes

No other choice as of now. There's some thoughts that Holland may waive Mrazek and have Coreau backing up, which wouldn't surprise me.

If he exposed Mrazek to waivers he should be fired on the spot. Peter may never turn it around but he's definitely not someone you just toss away without trying to fix him.

Potential injuries aside, I think its 100% Howard/Mrazek at the season start in Detroit. Whether either finish the season in Detroit remains to be seen.

Title is redundant, and its got its share of hyperbole, but still fun to watch.

Watched this a bit ago myself. It's a brutal critique and while intended to be satire it rings true. Wish it were hyperbole.

It's a pretty fun watch. It sums up pretty well exactly what went wrong correctly pointing to Holland not moving out of Yzerman's way as the real moment the team began to crumble. Was nice to come back in for a while and see something back that up over all the Holland apologists and Yzerman hasn't done anything noteworthy camps this board was full of over the years. Heads out of the sand yet? Holland killed his legacy.

This rebuild will either cement him as a legend or be a huge blemish on his record.

I think that string of 7 or 8 seasons signing the latest retiring veteran, resigning Dan Cleary and trading away your picks because "get in and anything can happen" firmly takes him out of the 'Legend' category.

    It's beyond crack.

The league all took note of the price and return of Tatar. I wouldn't give up more than a 2nd for Nyquist, and I think most NHL GMs would be on the same page. Just wait until Zetterberg is another year older, Nyquist will continue to show what he really is.

Lol, DeKeyser isn't bringing back anything. Even if $$$ is retained, he's not an asset. To think the Avs (or any team) wants that scrub for anything above free is pretty crazy.

Lmao, Holland could never double back on the Datsyuk salary dump madness, let alone pay top dollar to get back what he pissed away. Why are the Yotes even entertaining this deal anyway? AA has problems written all over him.

Jensen is absolutely worthless. Daley might bring back a 2nd, might be the only moveable piece from on the backend, Jensen would cost Detroit to move.
