.435? That’s just silly
Im more impressed with the .508 on base percentage.
He's even managed to lower his K% this year from when it was already so low last year.
He's honestly such an unbelievable hitter. No holes.
Yeah, most guys don't show their true power in baseball until there mid to late 20's there are exceptions, but generally, teenagers and youngers will just occasionally flash their raw power. His power is starting to develop more as well.
I think he gets called up to AAA pretty soon.
there's a nice tidy irony in the fact that we couldn't invest in this team because there wasn't enough young talent, but now we can't bring up elite young talent because the team isn't good enough.
Bob McCown was talking about Osuna today and he cryptically mentioned something about the organization being concerned with his off season activities. I’ve heard him reference this a couple times before. Anybody know what he’s talking about?
So far, in 23 games in May, Vlad has an impressive 8:7 BB to K ratio.
That's not NEARLY as impressive as his 8:7 HR to K ratio this month, though.
He is probably the best defensive shortstop available and he's good, too bad he's in a slump hitting .So they are actually going there, eh? Starting Martin at ss.

We really need to move some pieces going forward to open up spots.I’d be less annoyed by it if the homie Danny Jansen was starting at catcher.

I have seen references to some WAR-based metrics that suggest that he is pretty bad at third base.
