But the Jets had poor goaltending, and Vegas had great goaltending.

Vegas scored the exact same goal on the exact same play repeatedly in that series. You could see them setting it up and the Jets never adjusted. MAF was on a heater, but the Knights exploited a gap and that's on the coach.
