I expected Minnesota to bring back both Bridgewater and Keenum. Or, at the very least, Bridgewater.

But he might have just wanted a fresh start no matter what. Worth a gamble to see if he can become a starter again.

I hope he gets a fair shot to compete for the starting job but I'm guessing he won't. It'll probably be McCown's job to lose.

Fantasy-wise, McCown actually had a really good year. On the Jets, no less.

That said, if Bridgewater can't beat out a career journeyman backup near the end of his career, that says more about him.

I was hoping McCown would end up as Mahomes' backup in KC. Looks like he's going to stick around the Jets as Teddy's insurance policy though.

That's not good. They could easily just cut him in camp and move on if he's struggling or if they draft a QB and think he's ready to at least be a back-up.
