Team World vs Team NHL (1970s)

If we're looking at a NHL vs the World scenario in – let's say – 1968 then it's hard to see how a team consisting of the best outside the NHL could achieve anything against a hypothetical NHL All-star squad. But just four years later, with the WHA emerging and the Summit Series proving that the best Europeans were on NHL level, the situation becomes more interesting. In some years the non-NHLers even have the edge in both top end talent and depth at some positions, most notably LW. So how would a match-up like this end in the early to mid 1970s? Let's assume we're looking at an 8 game series with 5 games on NA sized ice and 3 games on European sized ice. (5-3 instead of 4-4 as Team World doesn't exclusively consist of Europeans.)
