There is no room for lander. Zibanejad, Backlund, kempe and j.larsson have locked the center positions. But yeah lander is probaly better than j.larsson.
I think they'll play Kempe on a wing. Preferably Zibanejads wing since Kempe reminds me of Kreider.

I doubt he will, he is very good on the right half wall on the PP. Plus Sweden has a lot of players declining no?

Healthy players declining:
Erik Karlsson
Alexander Edler
Henrik Zetterberg
Niklas Kronwall
Jonathan Ericsson
Joakim Nordström (No contract)
Elias Lindholm ( No Contract)

Outside the NHLers(1G, 4D and 7F as it stands), and assuming a rather big roster(because of rotation), I would give these players a shot at the SHG:
Magnus Hellberg
Lars Johansson

Daniel Rahimi
Eric Martinsson
Mikael Wikstrand
Erik Brännström
Lawrence Pilut

Elias Pettersson
Anton Lander
Anton Rödin
Patrik Zackrisson
Dennis Everberg
Carl Klingberg
Axel Jonsson-Fjällby
Lias Andersson

We'll maybe see some of Rosén, Möller and Lindholm from the SHL finals too, depends on how many players they select. But if we're looking for a 12th forward I'd rather give that chance to a younger player.

lol no växjö or saik players and no lander. wikstrand...wtf. jacob nilsson and john norman over anton rödin/fredrik händemark? hmm.

Where is nyquist, rakell, lindholm?

i would use this lineup in sweden hockey games:

Larsson - Klingberg
OEL - Gustafsson
Almqvist - Pilut
Brännström - Wikstrand

Janmark - Zibanejad - Kempe
Pääjärvi - Backlund - Lias
JDLR - Larsson - Klingberg
Everberg - Zackrisson - Fjällby

Would be surprised if any other than Elias Pettersson makes the WCH from the SHL finals now. It's basically him and Lander I would consider without the "try out".

Anyway, they're giving Brännström and Jonsson-Fjällby a shot and I'm good with that.

the NHL'ers are guaranteed a spot on WC roster, no? Does this apply to Lias Andersson as well? With just seven NHL games under his belt I'm guessing he isn't?

I dont think Söderberg is better than Lander.

Rakell - Zibanejad - Landeskog
Nyquist - Backlund - Elias Pettersson
Janmark - Lander - Kempe
JDLR - Larsson - Pääjärvi

Lindholm - Klingberg
OEL - Larsson
Gustafsson/Nemeth/Hägg
