Not claimed, as much as that is a nightmare for the possibility he could one day return from the depths, it also speaks to how ****ing awful he is that not one ****** or injured team wanted to claim the best locker room guy and tremendous human being to ever lace them up.

Poor Joe Mich must be devastated.

This isn't uncommon right now. Just about everyone clears these days. There aren't enough roster spots in the league for the number of NHL caliber players. Maybe you don't think Glass is one of those players, but there was basically 0% chance of a claim here, even if the player we waived was Stoll or Stalberg.

You knew he was going to clear. Next year, maybe someone picks him up with his salary going down again and one year left on his term. Possibly could be traded for another player making $1 where the other team doesn't care about his extra cap hit and hopes he could crack their team, but the $1 player they are sending back to us is someone like Luke Adam who is a definite minor leaguer.

Rather they just kept Glass.

In a way I am glad he cleared, Rangers without what they seem to think is a safety net in Glass, yet with a newly opened roster spot and some cap space... it's kind of scary what they'd do with it.

Aren't Stoll and Stalberg both making under 1 mill? Much better chance they'd be claimed since they are also useful players.

Sam too. To hear both of them go on and on.... I remember whoever were the commentators back then were but they said the same crap about Marek Malik.
