Shouldn't there be some word on Nylander soon?

Buffalo has said he'd be made available and Sweden has expressed interest. Kind of makes me think it's Nylander himself who isn't interested in going this year.

Swedish fans would be disappointed, no doubt. His presence puts that team up there as a contender for gold.

The only reason I can think of is that he is nursing some kind of injury and feels he won't be able to play at a high level thereby disappointing his country. Other than that, I just don't get it.

Not really worried. Pettersson will look incredibly weak along the boards all tounament and Dahlin will make mistakes, they are going to make up for it with good plays though. Dahlin is the 1st Swedish D playing with a cage since Adam Larsson 8 years ago, I won't be disappointed if he doesn't look dominant. We can expect him to be a key player though.

The date you have to keep in mind is December 19th... the NHL roster freeze. If it hasn't happened before then, it isn't happening.

Ragnarsson is one of my favorite Swedish prospects for 2018 and it's nice to see him getting noticed in North America as well. I hope to see him next year.

Gustavsson from last year is the #1 right now, Larsson and Eriksson Ek are battling for the backup, Larsson is a year older.
