Sweater size question.

My lady friends birthday is coming up shortly, and I'd like to get her a hockey sweater. Myself, being an ogre, I always buy the largest size they have. Her, being the opposite, I don't know what size to buy. She's 5'4", 110 pounds, so; small, or medium?

I know they make those "Women's jerseys", nuts to those things, though. I want to get her one of the actual replicas.

maybe a youth large, or a men's small.

Well if it were me I would take a mens medium because I like them bigger. So you can wear a sweater underneath if need be.

My girlfriend is the same size and I gave her my old boys large Alexander Daigle jersey and it fit her snug.

Men's small would be good too. Most women don't like to wear baggy sweaters so I wouldn't go over men's small.
