Ok, I traded for this jerk just before he took off for Russia. Did I lose his rights completly just because he took off?

Why isnt he at least on my prospect list?

anyhow, no problem, i know its a busy free agent season, but i would like to know how i lose this players rights to NSH.

Can either Pittsburgh or Nashville provide proof of how they acquired him? And Robb, do you have a link on the history page to having his rights? Whom did you trade for him?

all i know is that he is on the eurolist for nashville. trades that might have happened, must have taken place before i took over as nashville gm.

i am pretty sure i traded Matty Norstrom for him ... i know for 100% i had his rights, cuz i was pissed when like 1 week later he went to europe and i was stupid about the rule of him not being elegible.

i will dig up the trade, i hope i still have it though, it is from some time ago.

Well, he seems to be on the Preds roster on the history page as of the end of the 03-04 season and given Svitov didn't head back to Russia until the '05/06 season, it seems like some deal would have to have taken place in 2005, which is more recent and Rich or someone might have a record of it. It also seems like it would have to involve the Preds somehow.

I do recall Pittsburgh having Norstrom at least. Perhaps Douglas can shed some light on how he acquired Norstrom and we can work our way back from there?.

I sent Nashville Vandermeer and Dandenault for Norstrom at the start of last season, so the stories seem to line up somewhat.
