Dude it's been 9 years since the Wings have done any damage in the PO's. Over 1/2 the league make it in every season and we've done nothing but decline in that time period. Holland's rebuild-on-the-fly failed miserably. The Wings should have pulled the plug and started truly restocking when we were made a joke of in 2012 and Lids retired.

I don't mind bending over to the Avs, they have a far more entertaining team with a brighter foreseeable future. Just for the record I'm talking about bending over in a polite bow, not the other way.

Avs have had a ”bright future” for like 10 years now. Maybe this is for real now, maybe not. But it wasn’t even a year ago that they were the biggest joke in the league. And they’ve largely been garbage post-lockout. A lot of trash talking from teams that have been waiting decades to see their team actually have an advantage over the Wings.

Unrealistic for us to be good forever. But good try trolling.

Basically when Avs Wings were a rivalry, this woulda made sensee, but everyone is retired now.
