How does that work when the Earth is flat?
We should be biased against Petro
I thought we were just chided for rooting against him while playing the Blues. It’s OK now?We should be biased against the first Blue to ever lift the cup? Ever. Your favorite team, you were alive to watch them win the championship after 50+ years of heartbreak. And the Captain of that team, one of the best players on that team, and the first player wearing a Blue note you have ever seen hold the most iconic trophy in sports. And we should be biased against him? Makes zero sense. Root against him when he plays the Blues, sure. But completely misconstruing a play on the ice just to get a cheap laugh against him in a meaningless game? Why?

Why do you and bleedr/bluesknight feel the need to simp for Petro constantly? Honestly I don't care that he was on the ice or not. I'm just happy when he gets owned. Screw that turncoat.
A couple things…No you were chided for trying to somehow make everything his fault for some weird schadenfreude specifically about him. People on the board weren't happy because the Blues scored, they were specifically happy because Pietrangelo was on the ice and they could make up some weird narrative to make it his fault. Rooting for the Blues to win means he loses, sure. But specifically wanting him to mess up, and worse, crafting a false narrative that he messed up just seems weirdly desperate.
Why do you simp for millionaire owners and Armstrong? Honestly, you sound like a jilted ex-lover. Calling him names and saying things like "screw the turncoat" is just weird. Why y'all so fixated? People who support Pietrangelo only respond to people who go out of their way to insult him. This would never come up if you all weren't so fixated. Why do you and bleedr/bluesknight feel the need to simp for Petro constantly? Honestly I don't care that he was on the ice or not. Never been a Petro fan. Everyone knows that. Everyone has their player they dislike.
There is no false narrative that Petro blew his post. Robert Thomas is not shooting from the Blueline. Nor would the other player on the point. That would pretty much be giving up on the play as a low percentage shot. Petro could see the other forward heading that direction. He is a defenseman not a forward. 95% would go ape if Parayko or Krug did the same. Example…I saw Parayko called Mr icing. That would be Petros cup to hold. Just like in the playoffs when he iced the puck 3 times before the opposition tied it. Just needed to flip it out of the zone to run the clock out. Just as Edmunson did in the next game. On here, it’s brilliant hockey to ice the puck. Petro is brilliant. O Reilly is a face off specialist (who wins what 70% tops?). Maybe lose one? Stop worshipping a false idol. Just admit he should have played it differently and not leave a 30 goal scorer in the closest position of a high percentage shot. I would’ve gotten my ass chewed out for doing that and climbed the mountain for half of the next practice.
Nah. I'll make a new one. LolYo @Linkens Mastery! Are we eighth-assing this GDT? If so, go Blues! Beat the Vegas Petros!!
I enjoy your argumentative style sometimes, and readiness to challenge orthodoxy. But policing the forum over Pietro sarcasm is weak.No you were chided for trying to somehow make everything his fault for some weird schadenfreude specifically about him.
