OT: Stick n puck or shinny between Bolton/Woodbridge?

Hi guys,

I have a friend who just moved here from Italy and is eager to learn how to play hockey, I told him to try stick n puck or shinny but he's having a hard time finding any open ice... I don't really have any recommendations for him.

He lives in Bolton, but works in Woodbridge. Anything in the after work range 5PM or later that has open ice? (during summer)

Ha, funny. I used to work in Woodbridge and live in Bolton too...

Nobleton rink has ice in all summer. There should be pickup/shinny.

Woodbridge? Pretty sure there's a rink that most people play on between Jane and Rutherford (nat far from Vaughan Mills).

Canlan at YorkU has midnight shinny on Tuesdays and Thursdays, don't know if it runs through the summer. I believe Sports Village and Vaughan Ice Plex are limited during the summer months.
