Just a note here on Steven Anthony. He is a real good player , no question about that. And there is no reason for him to play another year of Bantam as he would not get anything out of it. His problem is that he has to play for Halifax rather then Dartmouth Subways where he wants to go. He will develop in Dartmouth as they have a history of producing quality kids in a great program. Halifax has issues and cannot attract any players, only those who don't make the Subway and Cole Harbour teams. They may get one or two but have not developed any players in a long time.

Too bad for Anthony as he would of done well in Dartmouth. Is he as good as Crosby was when he was 13-14 years old? No way!!!! Not even close. For those of you who have seen him play can attest to this. He is good and has a bright future, but certain things have to happen.

His father made comments in the paper Monday which proves that he is nothing but an idiot. The sooner Steven gets away from his dad, the better off he will be.
Like most kids with that potential there comes a time when the player has to go in a certain direction and the sooner he goes the better off he will be.

There is also a kid in Pictou by the name of Evan Brennin, Scott's little brother. He is a truck just like his brother and is the same age as Anthony. Brennin will also probably register as an acceptional player and could probably play AAA Midget very easily. Both players have great futures and leaving Bantam early will only help their Development.
