I played on his team for a couple years, the last year we played together was 3 years ago. I'd definitly say he's a top 15 pick. Excellent skater, passer, and has a decent two-way game. He has an outstanding wrist-shot, and he is a team player...no ego problems or whiny-ness (lol sp?). Steve also gives his all every game, and takes no shifts off, and if you look at his numbers he puts up...well, they leave you in awe.

Top 15 pick? yes.

Top 5 pick at this point, could probably be the first overall if he keeps his progression up. First year in the OHL and he's leading his team in goals and points and he's top 5 in the league in goals and and 6th in points, 3rd in rookies.

Most other years all the talk would be about Stamkos but with Tavares, Gagner and Kane he gets lost a little by some. However you don't see the numbers he is putting up from 16 year olds to often and he will go high in his draft year.

Kane is 18 yrs old......not your typical CHL 'rookie'. He should be putting up some points!! Tavares at this point is taking all the spotlight and for good reason!
