Ignore my prev thread re Stephen Davis. I was having an NFL flashback. THe guys name is Stephen Wood and he was just signed out of college by the Flyers.

Can anyone give us a scouting report

Cant give you a report but I do know the NCAA posters around here really liked this guy's progress this year.. there may be something in the NCAA forum.

Thanks Stevex. All I heard so far that he was an offensive type, good size and will be invited to the Flyers camp next year if they have one. He will finish this season working out with the Phil Phantoms

Excellent p/u by the Flyers.

I saw Providence alot this season and you Flyers/Phamtoms fans will like this guy. Excellent offensive defenseman. He's a very good skater and excellent with the puck. Sees the ice and anticipates well. He's quite good transitionally and his defensive side is pretty solid. About the only knock on him is that he's not much in the way of being physical.
