I dont think we can put in picks like Hasek and Bondra as they were picked late due to the political situations at the time, not due to skills. If it were today, Hasek would have been IMO a 1st round pick as he was great in CZE.

Agreed same thing with russian players drafted before 1992

Forgeting about a little guy who had 32 goals this year in his rooke season before being injured. Svatos (227th overall in 2001)

Other players that come to mind are
Hejduk (87th overall in 1994)
Liles (159th overall in 2000)
Blake (70th overall in 1988)

Non AVS
Michael Ryder (216th overall)
Alfredsson (133th overall)
Hasek (10th round)
sergei kostitsyn (200th overall) I think he was a steal because even before hunter, schremp, and Bolland came back him and Perry were the only players on the Knights actually doing something.
