I think that WoL was the best of the SC2 line, followed closely by the early-ish release of HotS. Later HotS patches and LotV ruined that game for me. Having played a StarCraft game nonstop from about 2000 until about 2015-16, the game is dead. I just hopped back on the other night for the first time in months and was able to convincingly beat some masters level players. That tells me anyone good has left the game, presumably to move on to another game or go back to the remastered version of SC.
