Worst argument ever.

agreed

just because a guy goes 5th doesn't mean he'll end up the best player out of the draft.

Bourque in 79, Yzerman in 83,Jagr in 90..etc..etc...the best player out of the draft doesn't have to go #1.

Anaheim was weak on the blueline. They have quantity but little quality. After Smid and Mikkelson, there's a drop to players with questionable potential such as Skinner, Kondratiev, Salcido and Klubertanz and players with a limited ceiling such as O'Brien, Rome and Sanders
I was reading it "there are none there", and I still think we're the 15 at least for blue line prospects.

It's SI.

Who cares what they have to say about hockey? Their analysis is terrible, and as usual, riddled with factual mistakes. For a magazine of its resources they have to have accurate facts.

The article gets a D+

Little research - few facts and mostly BS.

Duh - shouldn't the first pick have a relatively good draft.
