Sorry if this is already a thread. Couldn't find it in the search box so here we go..

What are some good sports history books to read? Could be sports in general or a specific sport. I am trying to expand my sports book library.

The History of Hockey forum has made suggestions in the past. ( Hockey History Books )

In the Flyers' forum, within the sticky section (near top), I listed nearly every book written on the team. "Full Spectrum" is a must among those mentioned.

From a hockey perspective, I suggest "The Rebel League" by Ed Willes which chronicles the history of the World Hockey Association. On the same league "Big Bucks and Blue Pucks" by Murray Greig.
