Sochi specifically is 200 by 100 (versus 200 by 85 in the NHL). So 7 1/2 feet on each side.

Credit to the Own the Podium program. For years we struggled as a nation at the winter Olympics. As a land stereotypically covered in snow, one would think we would be one of the leading nations during this two and a half week phenomenon. However, historically we have been a disappointment at the winter Olympics. At the past 3 games, we have received more medals than we had in the 12 prior. From 1948 - 1992 Canada produced an average of 3.33 medals per games. The last 3 games have produced 24 (2006), 26 (2010) and 25* (2014) (*includes a medal for men's hockey).

It's great to see Canada put funding into amateur sport and grow our nation's sense of pride.

We are Winter.

Does anyone know what time and Channel the Can Vs USA replay is on? (Rogers)

I can't seem to find it on my Sochi AP...
