Wow, based on this assessment, the Habs did well, especially given that they were weakest on defense.

What do you know of Biega that you consider him?

1: Patrick Berglund
2: Nikolai Kulemin--after all the Leafs' misses could be a grand slam!
3: Aaron Snow
4: Bobby Hughes
5: Maxime Lacroix--Alex Biega--Stefan Chaput (LSL)
6: Jan Mursak
7: Marc Cheverie

I tried to avoid 2nd and 3rd choices. ;)

Surprised no one had Codey Burki as a sleeper for 2nd round considering he was figured to go late first round and went 3rd last in 2nd i think.

As well no one had Ryan White in third round and he was figured to go to Calgary first round.

I was also surprized no one mentioned Burki, and only one person(I think) mentioned White, in the overrated/underrated thread.

I agree with you on Aaron Snow. This young man is a fire hydrant on skates and can score!!

Not a misspelling at all. It looks like it's just the Capitals that feel like spelling it Simeon, which is pretty lame, in my opinion.

What's next? Alexei Simeonov? I realize how it's pronounced in Russian, but when has that ever mattered?

The newest Hockey News has a bubble saying that most of North America has it spelled wrong and it's actually Simeon. Could be wrong I guess, but I find that more trustworthy than people on here (no offense). Maybe a Russian fan on here would know?

It's pronounced kind of like "sim-yon" yeah. But like I said, pronunciation has never really mattered when it comes to spelling names in North America, nor should it. Like has already been said, the reason the Capitals are spelling it that way is to be politically correct, I guess.
