I dislocated the AC joint(acromioclavicular joint) playing in the playoffs last week and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for rehabing it. We play the first game if the best of seven finals this weekend and I would like to help my team out. Any help would be appreciated.

or has it been put back?

If it's not back, don't bother playing, you can cause more damage.

If it's back, and you are set on playing this weekend, ice Ice and more ICE.

also, go to a medical supply store and get yourself a brace used for those that break their collar bones. It's a harness of sorts that is shaped in a figure 8 that forces your shoulders into the natural position.

Most of all, try not to move arm to much for then next 2-3 days and on Friday, slowly attempt to get your range of motion back (will be very very limited) and see what happens come game time.

my suggestion, give it the next 7-10 days off.
