shootout clarification

i read on here that for the shootout in the IIHF you pick 3 players for the shootout?

Now if the shootout extends as it did in the Canada, US game, you can switch the players up but you can also use a same player again?

While watching the highlights on TSN they had Downie shoot first then I believe Little, then Toews. Then I heard Cogliano shot.

While the US just used the same three players, Kane, J.Johnson, Mueller.

im just trying to figure out how it went and if I heard it right on the TSN highlights.

your right just remembered that Little was stopped and Kane had a few chances. Ya I remember I was yelling "OH ****" when Kane came up to win the game
