HFNHL Preds
After a hot start into the new year the Nashville Predators seem to have hit a wall. 3 consecutive losses speak for themselves. Dropping a home-and-home series against the powerhouse San Jose Sharks, the team arrived in Philadelphia with the goal to get back on track.

Jan Hrdina opened the scoring 8 minutes into the first period and also put the Preds ahead early in the 3rd period after Andrei Markov had evened the score in the 2nd period. But that was the last positive in that game for Nashville. The Flyers rallied and scored 3 unanswered goals to come out with a 4-2 victory.

"It's the old story for us" Captain Brad Lukowich was clearly frustrated after the game "We don't show up for 60 minutes. There are times where we outplay teams who are better on paper. But we are not able to keep that up."

In the meanwhile rumors around the team are heating up. GM Tony Kapfenberger is believed shopping veteran forwards Jan Hrdina, Jeff Halpern and Brian Savage as well as goaltender Brent Johnson. The GM was unavailable for comment, but it is believed that all the possibly available players would be a welcome addition to playoff teams, so trades are not out of the question. Since the Preds are in rebuilding mode, don't expect big names going their way.
