It would take a huge overpayment (e.g. 7 - 9M AAV) for an offersheet to work on Pinto. That ain't happening.

If someone offer sheeted Kotkaniemi for 6M AAV in 2021, why not Pinto at 7M AAV in 2024?

The answer could be zero. Wouldn't make that goalie, If they existed, any more valuable.

As many have said, OTT will have plenty of cap space this summer and will not be up against the cap. Pinto should be an easy contract to get done before the draft.

A 1yr 7m deal would be annoying, but still a no-brainer for the Sens to match unless its from a legitimate lottery contender.
