Of the two Batherson.

Batherson upside potential is 3rd liner, Driedger is ok but I don't see him being more than a back-up at some point and it's far from guaranteed. Batherson just got drafted and seems to have something to offer.

Was REALLY impressed with Batherson at the Dev camp. Was a standout. Believe he has Hoffman potential.

If you look at our history of top picks, one thing that is clear is that us fans underestimate depth defensemen. The most obvious was Chris Wideman who made the top 20 only once and he was #20. Boro, Gryba and others suffered similar fates.

Depth defensemen just lack score appeal I guess. Forwards are seen as Top six potential and if they don't turn out can still play bottom six.

For me, Peumple and Prince were guys that we vastly over rated. Peumple was our #1 prospect a few years back. We were all just hoping he would be that top 6 winger, but by that time I was convinced his chances were low.
