He has 19 pts & tied for 6th in scoring in Columbus, he would be tied for 6th in Ottawa too.

Prospal, Letestu, Dubinsky, Atkinson, Gaborik, Anisimov and Brassard all scored at higher paces than Foligno. He wouldn't have hit 35 pts in a full season...

driedger and the hitmen force game 7 vs. oil kings.
driedger had 36 saves in a 4-3 OT win.

also puempel had his first goal as a pro in bingo's 3-2 loss.

I think he scored a goal last year actually.

Looks like Bingo is in trouble. does 0 and 2, in a 5 gamer. Not a surprise really, the team has been average since the callups. Missing Lehner was huge.

Have they said where Noesen is off to yet? Figured they would send him to join Binghamton, but never saw a word about him once Plymouth was eliminated.

Ah forgot to add Noesen to my follow list. Normally the Sens twitter account or rest of the media pick up on these types of things. Apparently they are a bit distracted with the playoffs set to start. Thanks for the info!

But he was screening the goalie for the tying goal. I was not very impressed with his skating or stick handling im my limited viewing of him, but he seems to have no problem heading straight for the net and parking himself in front of the crease.

he did not have a very strong game, nervous, injured who knows but he was not his usual self

ErikMacNorrison:

On Stefan Noesen there was a paper transaction on him 5-1-13 that he was assigned to Binghamton from his junior team.

No one down here mentioned a word about him, not 1 word from Grady or coach Luke about Stefan Noesen.

So I guess he was just a paper transaction who never got here. That is all that I can guess about Stefan Noesen............... As no one knows anything about it..................

While the same hasn’t been true for hockey, there are signs things are starting to get back to normal. He’s jogging now, doing some light weightlifting and even skating again. Not full out, but he’s back on the ice. It’s progress. A specialist in Guelph is working on his neck muscles since that seems to be part of the issue as it was with Sidney Crosby and his concussion problems.

Maidens expects to be back in uniform in the fall. Playing full-speed again, just as well as he was before the injury.

Great that he'll be back in the fall. Thanks a lot for the link.

“I’m not concerned,” he says. “I know I’ll be the same player.”

With a new appreciation for his health. And the game he can’t wait to play again.

BEAUTIFUL news:yo:

He WILL play in ottawa eventually

I didn't realize he was drafted last year. For some reason I thought he was drafted in 2011.

Gives me a little more hope for him.

Maidens will be a welcome addition to Bingo next season & gives Luke another good skilled centre to wrok with.

Puempel - Maidens - Noesen would be an interesting 2nd line for next yr in Bingo.

Maidens can't play in the AHL next year, and expecting him to jump into pro as a second line center after missing almost two full seasonsis a very, very, very big longshot.

Is he too young for the AHL? I just checked he is a 94 birthday which your right he is too young for the AHL, I guess he returns to Owen Sound.

After missing this much time, even if he were AHL eligible it would have been the smartest move to send him back for his OA season. He didn't play much his draft season and missed this whole season. Expecting him to play in the AHL is insane lol.

So we can send him to the OHL for 2 more years? That'd be good since he lost 2 development years and lets him get his feet wet without being physically dominated by men. Assuming he doesn't tear the O a new one.

Yeah I think this is the most likely situation. If it weren't for his injury, he would have been a first rounder, and would have been in the AHL for sure in his OA season. But I believe him staying the next two years in the OHL would be best for him with the minimal amount he has played the last two seasons. I have never seen him play, be it live or on T.V, so I am only basing him on what I have heard.

Maidens played great in the playoff series between Owen Sound & Missisauga a couple of yrs ago scoring the winning goal that put out Dave Cameron's Missassauga Ice Dogs & sent Mark Reeds Owen Sound Attack into the next round. Funny thing is that both those coaches are now behind the bench with Paul Maclean & may have had some influence in drafting Jared Maidens in the first place. Hopefully, he fully recovers from his concussion problems, I too think he could be a steal, if he recovers properly & doesn't have any future concussions. Good luck to him.

Those are great news regarding Maidens. Had no idea he made that much progress.
