Dermott was the extra at practice. This after being our best D last night and leading the team in possession

Might not mean much and could change, but if this is the lineup we're icing tomorrow, it might be the dumbest thing Babcock could ever possibly do.

Well Dermott played too good in the two games he played and he can skate with the puck so it makes sense that he might not play in this one. Babcock is predictable.

Polak is so good on the PK that we are 0.6% worse on the PK with him than without him. 83% vs 83.6%. Oh and he can also kill penalties with his jedi mind tricks from the box because he's usually good for ~1 penalty per game.

Advice for Dermott: When you are sent back to the AHL, ask Kapanen how to cope with shitty players playing above you in the NHL while you're still in the AHL.

Some of you need to relax. Practice lines mean very little on non-game days. The game day skate lines tomorrow are what matters.

The Leafs also cant waste Carrick. He needs to get n meaningful practice as well.

he was ready all year by Babcock's own admission, but he said him out due to his handedness. Kapanen is ready as well and not getting a shot. It's idiotic
Dermott looked totally comfortable on the right side last night. Can't use handedness as an excuse for not playing him at this particular moment.

he can't use anything as an excuse for not playing him. Full stop. If he wants accountability and our best players to play, Dermott is in the lineup from October.

I like Carrick and think he should play over Polak but if he's the reason why Dermott isn't playing then screw him. We know what they are already. Carrick was benched for much of the playoffs against Washington, it's clear that Babcock doesn't trust him.

Babcock has too many faults and his love for grinders and players who suck is unbelievable.

Joel Quennville is scratching Seabrook for their next game. That's accountability.

Our coach sees young players do well and says "Oh well, you didn't earn the job from the vet, back to the AHL you go"

or even better: "Tie goes to the vet"

WTF?
