Svitov seems to be doing pretty well back home, he has 6 points in 7 games.

Svitov it looks like is staying over for family reasons. Guess he has a new born and didn't want to go through the hassle of moving with the child.

I can respect that decision, as long as he promises to come back next year! - which all signs (his words) show yes, from what I've been able to find/read. He seemed to click with Zherdev last year - would be nice if he could turn into a shutdown center. In my mind would be a shame not to get this guy back.

Semin however, hasn't really given a reason I don't think... a great talent but sure the Capitals are scratching their heads with this guy.
