I use wood sticks, so for me, yep, there are good sticks for that price.

You can probably get the CCM Vector V-80 or something like that for under $100.

I don't know anything about whats best, the only one piece I have is a Bauer truflex, its an early model I bought used, but its a tank, an absolute tank

XXX's are going for under 100.

But for that coin I'd just get a good tapered shaft rather than an obsolete/price-point OPS.

Since the synthesis is being phased out in favor of the Synergy II you can find them realtively cheap. 20-30 below the Synergy II and I don't believe there is any difference, if anyone knows otherwise let it be known.

Perani's has them for 110/85 respectively but they only have the 85 flex in the sr. Synthesis.

A tapered shaft is a good choice if you are someone who doesn't break shafts.

Someone already mentioned the Bauer Vapor XXX. Can't really beat that stick for $100. I really like the Vapor XX I bought over the summer.

XXX's are on sale for $99. Endures are on sale too, and they're only a bit more money. Might be more rugged too since it was made to 'endure' abuse. But I always recommend, Montreal Nitro, I personally like it and saw them for cheap too.
