Hey, i play for Invicta Dynamos Under 14s

and i am good at hockey, but i cannot seem to get noticed to get anywhere?


What am i doing wrong?

I skate my fastest play my hardest but nothing happens

Please say what to improve/get noticed

Well if you are THAT good, the scouts will come find you.

Yeah, im probably being inpatient

First off, you are in the UK. Which is hardly a hockey hotbed. Traditionally, the talent does not come from the UK, so it is not well scouted.

Secondly, if you are seriously good, look into a development program in North America that could house and educate you during the hockey season.Note: I do not want you to push this to your parents unless you feel you are extremely talented and think the talent in your area is slowing down your development, as this would be a huge financial weight on your parents back.

Thirdly, you are so young. My friend was not scouted until he turned 16. This was two years after he played on his state champion prep team as a freshman, then left that team to play juniors. He was not scouted much, so he was not drafted, but now he is on full scholarship to play hockey at UMass(American D1 college). So dont get down yet.

Just keep it up my friend. Any player who is good enough to go professional will be noticed, I guarentee it.
