Penguins play Kings 2/15
Penguins are done with Oilers
We might be scouting this Bonino guy
If his contract was 20-25% retained I’d love him back.
Plus he shares the same birthday as my pug.
Or Ron Hainsey
He does? Well that changes everything.
I know right. Nashville already have too many centres. We’ll give him a good home.
Anyone say WHO from the Pens is scouting. Suspect it's for the Leafs with them being 10 days away, but the name/title always is a good tell.
Again, our Director of Pro Scouting is scouting the LAK . . .
Would really be something if LAK is scouting us tomorrow if Sheary is in the lineup.
I wonder how this board will explode if we move Sprong for Lewis.
Just clarifying, this was the same night.
Penguins News Roundup 2/9/18: Pens Taking Hard Look at Kane
Kingerski says Jason Karmanos(VP of Hockey Operations) has been scouting the Sabres and Derek Clancy’s(Director of Pro Scouting) has actively been scouting the Kings’ organization.
Kane and Lewis?
Pro scout from Coyotes and Sharks at tonight’s game. Penguins are done with both Coyotes and Sharks ... Stars play Sharks 2/18 and are done with the Coyotes.
Avs sent two pro scouts, but the reason this is interesting is because the Avs don’t play the Penguins or the Stars for the rest of this year.
Joe Nieuwendyk, former Stars GM and current Canes advisor/scout. Penguins plays Canes 2/23 and they are done with the Stars.
PIT was at TOR/OTT last night(i know we play one of em soon) and
Santilli(new england based pro scout) was at BOS/BUF.
We actually play both teams this coming week. OTT tuesday and TOR saturday.
Kings scouting the Penguins again.
Just going to post that . . .
Kings scout is a Senior Pro Scout.
We sure have been scouting the Leafs a lot.
But we play the Leafs two more times this year.
Doughty or bust
I suspect it's because we play the Leafs on Saturday.
Yeah that’s what I thought.
The only name that COULD make sense would be Bozak, and I don't see why Toronto moves him. Makes no sense.
I also think that the other times we've seen Toronto, they've been playing a different team which we've been regularly scouting for (presumably) a potential trade. Ottawa, for example . . .
That would suck but the fact that their pro scout has been watching us with Sprong not here gives me some promise. Lewis would be a decent fall back option IMO. At this point id much rather have him over Cullen if it comes to a backup plan.
