According to who? Next Darcy Tucker is probably closer to the truth.

his skill set is a few notches above darcy tucker's, and i think you know that.

i'm not sure where the kariya comment came from, but he's more of a gritty forward than small scorer. he's injured(3 weeks with a sprained knee) at the moment, but he was tied for the team lead in points in milwaukee at the time, and coach Claude Noel has had nothing to say about his progress this year. I'm not sure you can call a guy that was only drafted in 2002 and has only had slight call up time in the NHL a bust yet. Just wait a bit.

Scottie is deveoping great in Milwaukee, an injury has sidelined him for now, but he is developing as expected. I don't ever recall him being compared to Paul Kariya. I think you plucked that out of thin air.

He could be compared to Roberts or Smyth?

as i recall at draft time, smyth was the comparison i read a couple of times. will be a decent scoring right wing...25-30 goals is a reasonable number...but his real value is in his leadership and grit.

AAhh crap, with no Hamhuis, no Upshall, I know Neadar sp is there though and Finley. Who should I be looking at?

The Preds recently signed Brandon Segal to a contract, there is a good chance he'll be playing.

Not really. I watched Darcy Tucker play junior hockey, and he was probably the best player in the WHL for most of the years he was in the league. Upshall plays a similar style but hasn't done anything close to what Tucker was able to do. Frankly, I'd be surprised if he puts up better offensive numbers than Tucker in the NHL.

gamache and darche are the big guns for the ads(though darche doesn't really interst me, as he's less a prospect and more of an AHL scorer for the Ads), and brandon segal should be interesting.
