Where would Schwarz and Montoya fit into the Best Goalie Prospects Polls?

Montoya is no BIG thing.... yeah, he's good, but Schwarz is better/more developed.

Montoya seems to be fitting the WJC anomoly.

Since I've been here, he's the only goalie whos starred at the WJC and isn't considered the best goalie prospect in his draft year. I don't get it.

You missed one important fact: He's American. Think I'm crazy?

He's Cuban-American! Apparently the kiss of death around these parts.

It's hard to say since the don't have the NA pro experience yet.

But I'd say they are a step or two behind the Fleurys, Lehtonens, and Ouellets of the world. For now.

But goalies can become better, obviously. And if people would have known how well guys like Ouellet, Miller, and Toivonen would have been, they would have been drafted higher.
