I think I'll get some mixed reviews on this one as both are high-risk/high-reward players imo.

Please answer seperatly.
Who will play more games next year?
Assuming they both play a fair amount who will have a better NHL season next year and why?
Who will have a more successful overall career?

And lastly, your pick overall, Schremp or Kopitar.

Im new here btw, thought I'd start with this. :)

More games this year: I think that will be close, I'll choose Kopitar because of Edmonton's superior forward depth.

Better season in '06-'07: Kopitar, without much thought.

Better career? Kopitar. He should have been picked in the Top 5, arguably. This kid will be a star.

More Games this season: Schremp. DL wants Kopitar to start off in the AHL. He will probably start the year in the AHL and get called up midseason or when someone gets injured unless he really shines in training camp.

Better this season: Schremp. He will play more games.

Better Career: Anze Kopitar

it could go either way, but i think kopitar will have the better overall career, we don't know, maybe he'll roll some heads at training camp and join the team on opening night and not start off at the AHL level.Dl did say it was a possiblity if kopitar showed 'em what he can do

Schremp is high-risk/high-reward player, Kopitar isn't. He will be a star.

well the only reason I say that is because he's never played in North America...I think that comes into play here, there's always a risk he won't stick in the NHL.

At this point Schremp across the board easily.

What makes you say that? Look what Kopitar did playing against men in the Swedish Elite League and also check out his numbers in the World Championships. He was tied in points with names like Ovechkin and Malkin, and he was playing on friggin' Slovenia! And Kopitar just recently turned 19 a week ago.

Kopitar.

Kopitar looks like he will be a good first line center for a long time.

Schremp I see as a 2nd line center powerplay specialist.
