They've been extra cautious in regard to shielding themselves from litigation. Although accepting the injury has correlation to that, it's not the main focus.

The last one was pretty minor and he looked like he had completely recovered from the sucker punch.

A concussion isn't minor. No matter how small. That's brain and head stuff. The neck spasms are really crappy too. I think he will be more cautious now and may not fire on full steam.
