I am highly impressed by his play.

How i sum Dzingle up

hustles and is gritty like Pageau
speed like Hoffman
patientce and controls the play like Stone

Now I know that any player could be traded for the right deal but as in general would you consider Dzingle to be a part of the core?

I would consider him as core. The only question is whether he will be protected in the expansion draft. It would suck to lose him for nothing.

Lol no way we dont protect him.

We either trade him in package while his value is high for true core player or we protect him.

I still see another level to Dzingel.

Yep, it will be very interesting to see him develop at the top level.

I don't think many of us were expecting all that much from him as a prospect; this is very exciting.

He lacks finish. If he figures that out he'll reach that next level. He could have had at least 3-4 more goals by now.

Yeah, he gets and creates chances at the rate that star players do. If he could develop his finishing I see him becoming a 60 point player.

Dzingel is already leaps and bounds better than Lazar ever will be. He looks like he could be a perennial 20-goal guy and could probably hit 25-30 if he had any touch around the net. Don't even think about exposing this kid to Vegas.

I think that's getting a bit carried away. I see him as a capable depth top 6/9 winger who has the potential ( if everything goes right ) to hit a high of 20g / 40pts.

I'd be pretty happy with that. That's solid production from him.

I do agree that, at this point, I'd prefer to keep him over Lazar.

Dzingle is also three years older... look what good development can do

Past to present player comparisons:
Hoff is Heatley clapbombs
Stone is Canadian Alfie
Brass is 1/3 a Spezza
Pager - Mini speedy Fisher
Dz is young Vermette
Turris is 1/2 a spezza (better defense, less blind passes)
Lazar(finished product) - hopefully a fisher
Logan Brown - Yashin/Hossa-ish?
Colin White - Havlat?
Thomas Chabot - wade redden but better offensively?
