I dont understand what his game in NHL is supposed to look like. Someone like Tyler Bertuzzi maybe? Kovalenko is too small for his game, in NHL it will seriously limit him.
But his decision to leave Lokomotiv paid off for sure. Loko cant develop forwards

I could live with someone who can forecheck, not be a black whole offensively. Isn’t a liability defensively.

Will be great to get him over for the playoff run for Colorado come this spring after the KHL season. The Avs are not especially deep and he could be an interesting wild card to add to the middle six right off the jump. I don’t think the Avs would shy away from throwing Tank Jr in there.
