I’m a Flames fan and I fully admit the thought of Pettersson and Boeser scares the hell out of me. Boeser reminds me of Hull and Pettersson reminds me Backstrom, it’s going to be scary.

I'm really not worried about him. His IQ is just off the charts, and he's elusive enough to be dangerous in the NHL imo

When do SHL playoffs start and how many rounds?

The 7-10 and 8-9 best of three series happen this week. The quarter finals will start next Sunday and there are three series (quarters, semis and then the final). The Lakers are top seed, so they will get the lowest remaining qualifier from the "play in" series this week.

Burrows for Dahlen was good.

Hansen for Goldobin (plus retaining salary on an already bargain contract) looks awful. Yes, Hansen has struggled in SJ. But he had significant value at the time that trade was made, and we have nothing to show for it.

Pouliot for a 4th sucks. Awful player.

Subban for Dowd ... total nothing trade.

Vanek for Motte and a garbage Jokinen contract looks awful.

Holm for Leipsic looks good.

I'll give him 2/5 with one deal being basically completely inconsequential.

Got a player you can give a chance to for a player that you didn't have a place for going forward. Expect something similar for Goldobin this off-season.

Same fate when Canada ledt Crosby off the 2006 roster despite being better then more then half the players. I knew because of that decision Sweden was not winning gold.
