So my brother is starting to play hockey and I have never played before. I bought me some skates so I can help him out. They were 50 dollars at target so they're pretty cheap. So I skate with them every so often and after about 15 minutes my feet start to hurt a lot. I was wondering what I should do about it. Whether I should get some dr. scholls foot pads or get someone to look at my skates. Oh and where it hurts is on the outside edges of my feet.

    Thanks.

    You need wider skates.

That usually happens the first few times your on your skates as far as i know.

Im starting to skate again after not skating for 5 years and I have intense pain on my arches.

Are they actually roller skates or inline skates?

I can't imagine $50 skates would be too comfortable...

But yeah you probably just need to break them in... Wear thick socks.
