Goffin

Lol. Apparently Haase was complaining about it being too dark and wanted to halt the match. Then he complained about an injury and was refused treatment because the trainer didn't believe him (allegedly). Goffin in control now

Sorry to hear about Ostapenko. That's a bad loss and it could drop her right out of the top ten, I think.

Gulbis making you proud. Fought through qualifying and just took out Muller in the first round.

And the great return of Tomic, who also made it through qualifying, is cut short against LL (one of many) Trungelliti.

Yikes, Stan goes down in the first round. He was defending a final here (1190 points). So right now he is 256 in the live rankings, down 226 spots.

Wow, Stan. He's really been floundering the past year+ with injuries and early exits.

That has to be a record for one match drops ever, I should think, or close to it.

Nole cruising along, a few too many errors but solid enough to get the job done efficiently against Dutra Silva.

Gulbis wins in four sets against Muller for whom clay is hardly a preferred surface. Still a win is a win these days for Ernests.

Siniakova bounces Azarenka out 5 and 5. Tough draw for Vika.

Coric goes up two sets to one against The Deutschland Doofus, Philipp Kohlscreiber.

Bolelli giving Nadal all he can handle so far, but the chances he can keep this up are slim at best.

Props to Bolelli for not laying down in the 3rd. Definitely a tricky opponent for Nadal as the Italian vet has been on tour for eons and is very familiar with the world No.1's game.

Denis plays at 11 Paris time tomorrow morning, which is 5 eastern, I believe. Won't be waking up for that one!

Pospisil and Polansky both play tomorrow aswell. A win for either would be a good and surprising result.

Nice little comeback by Shapovalov, winning the 1st set 7-5 after being down 2-5.

Rafa got the third set break back, but Bolelli is still not going quietly, 4-3

Rafa takes a tight breaker.. Bolelli had so many chances to win that set including numerous break point opportunities leading up to the breaker and four set points in the breaker which he at one point led 5-2 to serve. Still, at 4, 3 and 6 that is a fine showing for the veteran.

Well that was disappointing. Nadal made some shots in that TB but Bolelli really should have finished it off. He played really well over these 2 days and probably deserved a better fate.

Great effort by Bolelli, but just not good enough.

Sharapova really struggling vs. Hogenkamp.

Vasek loses in straight sets. The match was much closer than I expected. He is just so bad on clay...

Onto the grass for him.
