Roach is so smooth with the puck. He plays for my local team (Mannheim of the DEL) and I'm regularly impressed by his offensive talents. He's very good in his own zone, and has played in Europe long enough to be able to play a physical game under international rules without getting penalized too often.

Good guy, I'm surprised no NHL team has given him a serious look.

Unless NHL adopts shootout ( NOT !) he has quite a few things to work on until he can break an NHL line up.

Roach is the king of the penalty shots. His backhander against Slovakia was beautiful.

The guys on TSN were saying that Roach would be an NHL'er if the League ever adopts the shootout.
