Curious as to why you have Filip Johansson in the first round? Doesn't appear he's put up great numbers at any level and I haven't seen a whole lot of discussion surrounding him.

Hes not a 1st rounder. Maybe a late 2nd/early 3rd at best

Tkachuk is unbearably overrated. Born barely a month and a half behind a guy like Shane Bowers, who was taken late first round in a purportedly weak draft, and is performing statistically worse in almost every category while enjoying basically equivalent opportunities. Worse defensively and does not play as important a position, too. :dunno:

100% agree, great point. He gets way too much hype from Matt. He’s a less skilled version who isn’t scoring.

In my mock drafts, I basically only rank him going high because it's pretty much set and stoned he'll be a Top 10 pick when the draft happens. If I was an GM, I wouldn't take him any higher than 20. Guys like Lundstrom, Oloffsson, Kotkaniemi, A. Thomas, McLeod, Hayton, and maybe even Serron Noel, I would take above him. Tkachuk to me is a good 3rd liner, who can play in the Top 6 if need be. However, I don't see him being an solid Top 6 forward like some other forwards in the draft. (Not sure why I quoted your post oops.)

Rankings are about your personal opinion, not public opinion or draft projection, that’s what mock drafts are for, the opinion of other GMs and scouts. If you think that of Tkachuk, he should be where you think he SHOULD be in terms of skill and potential.

I guess Jett Woo will be ranked #1 in my next Mock Draft :sarcasm:, but I understand your point.

All that I read from this is “Sharks will draft this guy.”
