The Oceanic are losing 3-0 after the second period tonight - and while you can NEVER count this team out, the streak could be over in 20 minutes...

Now 5-0 halfway through the third.

Well 35 games is heck of a streak!

Yes 35 games without a loss is pretty good(winning streaks are even more impressive) but Rimouski got served a 5-0 loss today. Their opponents(CHI) prevented the shutout 2 times and it is now a series.

How many people predicted a sweep by Rimouski?

Amazing game by the Sags. Young Maxime Tanguay was a force out there, Chicoutimi will have a great third line center (maybe only because we've got great depth) in him for at least 3 years.

The 'Nics were simply outplayed.. Crosby tried but couldn't do it all alone. Even there, he only played an "okay" game by his standards.
Funny fact, one time he tried to split the Sags' defense and jumped to avoid the two defensemen both waiting for him.. and landed on his face. (don't wanna be stir anything up, just thought it was funny..)

Neilson speared Brandon Verge with about two minutes left in the game and went after another Sags player right after, crosschecking him and punching him behind the head. He's such a moron.

Fast? Not really. Ill have to disagree on you with that. He is small and he isnt overly quick/fast. Kind of like the way PM Bouchard played. When he has the puck the game slows down for him. He has good vision and he has good overall puck skills but he isnt that fast.

Alex isn't all that fast either, IMHO. He's fluid and his timing is impeccable; he knows when to make the move and has very good hockey sense, so he can read a play and be half a stride or a stride ahead of others and make himself appear faster (kind of like Scott Gomez).

Alex is in the top 10% of speed in the NHL. That is one part of his game that is underrated.

In junior he was always one of the fastest players on the ice.
