On the surface it looks like a total beer-league play (by the defenders) but the bigger European ice allows for more plays like this, potentially. Imagine McDavid if he had more space like this?

Hard to stop a guy like that even if you're a decent defenseman. Not saying that the defenders here were anywhere near NHL-level though, obviously, but then again neither was the guy carrying the puck.
