Proposal: Rethinking the goal song

Curious to get people’s thoughts on this, what if similar to baseball NHL players got to pick what individual song was played after they score a goal?

I think it would be a fun tribute to the players, help keep things fresh and energize the fans and the team. Is there a downside, assuming it’s obviously fan friendly?
