"In addition to a new, modern anchor desk, OLN built a multimedia environment that includes a panoramic, landscape rear projection (RP) screen; eight 42†plasma feeds; an operation room equipped with four computer workstations; and two stand-up areas with three 42†plasma screens and four 15†liquid crystal displays (LCDs). The set is also housed with color-changing, light emitting diodes (LEDs), making it possible to easily change the color of the entire set, and a 9†amber-color ticker fed with real-time league statistics. The set was designed by Jack Morton Worldwide, a global leader in experiential marketing that boasts a client roster that has included production design for, among others, ESPN’s SportsCenter, the NBA on TNT and NBC News’ Dateline."
