From the RDS website, seven teams with probable arrangements with Las Vegas as part of the expansion draft. Will translate later if necessary.

http://www.rds.ca/hockey/lnh/lnh-to...ghts-avant-le-repechage-d-expansion-1.4551381

Ducks of Anaheim : the Ducks would have concluded an agreement that prevented them from asking defender Kevin Bieksa to lift his non-trade clause. Clayton Stoner and Shea Theodore would make their way to Vegas to allow the Ducks to keep Josh Manson and Sami Vatanen .

Blackhawks of Chicago : it is already known for a month that the Blackhawks will yield Marcus Kruger and Trevor van Riemsdyk to the Knights. In the end, the Blackhawks lose van Riemsdyk so that the Knights absorb the $ 3.08 million Kruger salary.

Columbus Blue Jackets : Everything indicates that the Blue Jackets will give a first-round pick and hope to the Knights, which would keep Josh Anderson , Jonas Korpisalo , Jack Johnson and David Savard . The Knights would choose Matt Calvert, or William Karlsson .

Panthers of Florida : Jonathan Marchessault and Rielly Smith could switch to the Knights, although no detail has really filtered about it. Smith has just completed the first year of a five-year contract with an annual value of US $ 5 million. Marchessault represents a real bargain with his $ 750,000 salary.

New York Islanders: The Islanders will likely exchange their first-round pick this year and Mikhail Grabovski in return for a predetermined player from their list.

Grabovski has not played for a year because of a concussion, but would help the Knights reach the wage floor.

Pittsburgh Penguins : The Penguins would give a pick to the draft to ensure the Knights claim Marc-André Fleury . The latter has also agreed to lift his non-movement clause and is under contract for another two seasons.

Lightning of Tampa Bay : The Lightning would have an agreement so that none of their young defenders will be chosen. That means the Knights would select Jason Garrison . Russian hope Nikita Gusev could also switch to the Knights.

I think this is one thing not taken into consideration when people say it's a bad deal for Vegas to take 2 bad contracts from the Islanders. Grabovski's contract can actually be viewed as a positive thing for the Golden Nights

David Savard is one of the three defensemen CBJ protected. So the deal almost certainly isn't to protect Anderson, Korpisalo, Johnson, AND Savard.

I'd be fine with the rumored 1st + prospect (not Milano or PLD) in return for Vegas selecting Karlsson or Calvert. Adding Clarkson would be a bonus.
