AS far as Fischer is concerned, he is going to have his work cut out for him. He won't make the Canucks and the Moose are going to have quite a few AHL rookies on the blueline (Sauve, Connauton, Tanev, Sweatt, etc..). He might spend some time in the ECHL. Hope it works out for him though.

Sorry to bring back bad memories for Habs fans ;)

Seems like he's done well for himself in the ECHL and now in Germany. How has his game evolved in recent years? Career in europe for him or still a chance to earn a 2-way contract anytime soon?

He signed a two year extension in Krefeld, so it looks like he sees his near future in Germany. He plays very solid in the DEL, but I doubt he has a future in the NHL
